The Success Story of Jilter

Founded on February 20, 2002, by two brothers, the goal was clear: to develop a filter that reduces pollutants without negatively affecting the taste, draw behavior, or the familiar rolling ritual. After intensive testing phases among acquaintances and an initial prototype series, the project was successfully advanced.

Laboratory-Tested Quality

To ensure that no desired active ingredients were lost, an extensive laboratory test was conducted in Basel. For this purpose, with the help of the Thuner Hanfcenter, a total of 2000 samples were built and tested in the smoke laboratory. The test was a complete success and confirmed in black and white that Jilter delivers on its promises. Today, over 20 years later, Jilter has a huge fan community on all continents of the world.

Sustainability: The ECO-Jilter

In the summer of 2022, the product range was expanded with the ECO-Jilter. Due to high demand for an environmentally friendly filter, the ECO-Jilter is made entirely of paper, is 100% plastic-free, and completely biodegradable.
